The wait is over. Midterm Elections are here. I voted for the first time at the age of 18. I’m now 28, and I can honestly say that these are the most anticipated Midterm Elections that I’ve witnessed in the last 10 years.
Voting and politics are two things that I’ve become more passionate about in recent months. That said, I knew that I wanted to produce a segment centered on a politician or public servant who is actually doing the work and not just providing lip service regarding policy and change in this country.
Well, after interviewing Charles Fall, I know for a fact that he’s a man of the people who is about action, not just commentary. Fall refers to himself as a public servant, not a politician. He doesn’t like the way in which majority of Americans view that title. That’s understandable given today’s political climate.
I sat down with Fall, a Democratic candidate seeking election to the New York State Assembly to represent District 61, for an exclusive one-on-one interview ahead of the 2018 Midterm Elections. We discussed the election, the current state of the country, the work he’s doing as a public servant in New York, and much more. | KMN
Thanks my brother for taking the time to sit down with me for this exclusive interview ahead of your big day. I think I speak for most people when I say that it’s leaders like you that young people today desperately need to hear from. The great thing about sitting down with someone and having direct communication with them is that you can tell whether or not that person is genuine. You my friend are as genuine as it gets, and your district would be more than lucky to have you as their leader. I look forward to supporting you in the future. Continue to strive for excellence and to challenge the unfortunate norms in today’s politics. We the people are proud to have you as our public servant.
